Airport lounges can make or break your travel experience. Imagine trading overcrowded gates, restless travelers, and noisy terminals for quiet, semi-private spaces offering free food and drinks, comfortable seating, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some locations even offer showers, spa treatments, nap pods, and more. So it’s little wonder that people with lounge access love getting to the airport early — even those who aren’t usually the type to arrive several hours ahead of time.

That being said, airport lounge access usually doesn’t come cheap: Day passes can easily cost between $45 and $90 per person per visit, while annual memberships cost anywhere from around $470 to just under $1,500 a year.

That’s why credit cards that include complimentary lounge access are so valuable for frequent travelers. If you regularly buy drinks or food in the airport, access to an airport lounge can save you a lot of money while making your travel experience far more comfortable.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

Best for: Travelers seeking premium travel benefits at a mid-tier annual fee price range.

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card comes with unlimited access to Priority Pass™ lounges (over 1,700 locations worldwide) as well as entry to Capital One’s Lounges and Landing locations.

Offering menus designed in partnership with celebrity chef José Andres and unique beverages custom-crafted for each location, Capital One Landing locations are more likely to feel like you’re in a high-end restaurant than a busy airport.

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is the most affordable travel rewards credit card with unlimited airport lounge access. But don’t let its low cost fool you into thinking it isn’t a great choice. Whether you travel weekly or only a few times a year, this card more than pays for itself in no time, thanks to an annual $300 travel credit as well as the aforementioned lounge access.

Lounge access details:

  • As of February 1, 2026: Cardholders pay $45 per guest per visit at Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations ($25 per visit per guest under the age of 18)

  • $35 per guest for Priority Pass™. Capital One cardholders who spend $75,000 on the card in a calendar year can continue bringing up to two guests per visit (one free guest in Capital One Landing locations).

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is the low-effort premium play: 2x on everything, 10x on hotels and rental cars through Capital One Travel, and a $300 credit plus anniversary miles that together outrun the $395 fee. Lounge access is included. The catch: Capital One lounges are thinner than Amex's, so value hinges on your airports.
